The research group maintains a close relationship with the&nbsp;<a href=\"http:\/\/www.uni-heidelberg.de\/\">Heidelberg University<\/a>.&nbsp;Besides his professorship, Vincent Heuveline is also Director of the&nbsp;<a href=\"http:\/\/www.urz.uni-heidelberg.de\/\">Computing Center<\/a>&nbsp;of Heidelberg University. He received his PhD in Computer Science in 1997 from the Universit\u00e9 de Rennes and habilitated in Mathematics at the University of Heidelberg in 2002.
