Dr. Wolfgang M\u00fcller"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Gruppenleiter <\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Wolfgang M\u00fcller ist Leiter der HITS-Gruppe<a href=\"https:\/\/www.h-its.org\/de\/forschung\/sdbv\/\">&nbsp;Scientific Databases and Visualisation (SDBV)&nbsp;<\/a>und Privatdozent an der&nbsp;<a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/www.uni-bamberg.de\/informatik\/\" target=\"_blank\">Fakult\u00e4t f\u00fcr Wirtschaftsinformatik und angewandte Informatik&nbsp;<\/a>der Universit\u00e4t Bamberg.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>1996 schloss er sein Diplom in Physik an der Universit\u00e4t Konstanz ab, mit einer experimentellen Arbeit \u00fcber Seifensch\u00e4ume am CNRS-Institut Charles Sadron in Strasbourg. Parallel dazu studierte er an der Fernuniversit\u00e4t Hagen Informatik und schloss das Studium 1998 mit einer Arbeit \u00fcber Data Mining ab. 2001 promovierte er bei Prof. Thierry Pun in Genf \u00fcber Content Based Image Retrieval, also die \u00c4hnlichkeitssuche in Bilddatenbanken. Er habilitierte sich 2008 an der Universit\u00e4t Bamberg im Fach Informatik \u00fcber \u201ePeer-to-Peer Information Retrieval\u201c, das hei\u00dft \u00fcber die \u00c4hnlichkeitssuche in verteilten, selbst organisierenden Systemen. Seit 2008 ist Wolfgang M\u00fcller am HITS t\u00e4tig, zun\u00e4chst als Vertreter, dann als Nachfolger von HITS Fellow Dr. Isabel Rojas (1968-2013), die die SDBV Gruppe 1999 gegr\u00fcndet hatte.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Die SDBV erstellt und betreibt datenbankbasierte Systeme f\u00fcr die Systembiologie. Ziel ist es, ein disziplinen\u00fcbergreifendes Systemverst\u00e4ndnis biologischer Systeme zu entwickeln.
