Sie untersucht die R\u00f6ntgenstrahlung des neugeborenen Sterns und ihren Einfluss auf die Bildung von Planeten. Sie ist Sprecherin eines DFG-gef\u00f6rderten Projekts zu <a href=\"https:\/\/www.transitiondiscs.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">\u201e\u00dcbergangsscheiben: Zeugen der Planetenentstehung.\u201c<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Barbara Ercolano promovierte in Astrophysik am University College London (UCL), UK.
