{"id":4536,"date":"2014-12-01T14:16:08","date_gmt":"2014-12-01T13:16:08","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.h-its.org\/?p=4536"},"modified":"2019-03-26T09:51:48","modified_gmt":"2019-03-26T08:51:48","slug":"sbepo","status":"publish","type":"hits-project","link":"https:\/\/www.h-its.org\/de\/projects\/sbepo\/","title":{"rendered":"SBEpo"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>The SBEpo (<b>S<\/b>ystems<b> B<\/b>iology<b> <\/b>of <b>E<\/b>rythro<b>po<\/b>ietin<b>) <\/b>project aims at multi-level mathematical modeling of erythropoiesis for optimized expansion of erythroid progenitor cells and improved treatment regimes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The hormone Erythropoietin (Epo) is the key regulator of definitive erythropoiesis that is a unidirectional proliferation and maturation process ensuring renewal of red blood cells. Erythropoiesis represents one of the best understood differentiation processes in the human body and thus serves as an ideal test case for data-based mathematical modeling to provide insights into mechanisms regulating cell fate decisions and to quantitatively predict targeted perturbations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Our group is hosting the data management for the SBEpo project using the FAIRDOMHub data management platform (<a href=\"https:\/\/fairdomhub.org\/projects\/54\">SBEpo Project<\/a>) and supports the data workflow during the experimental phase in the laboratory using Excemplify.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"author":24,"featured_media":29359,"template":"","hits-research-group":[1304],"hits-project-category":[1396],"class_list":["post-4536","hits-project","type-hits-project","status-publish","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","hits-research-group-sdbv-de","hits-project-category-previous-projects-de"],"acf":[],"yoast_head":"<!-- This site is optimized with the Yoast SEO plugin v27.4 -
