It is simulated with our state-of-the-art hydrodynamic moving mesh code AREPO, and includes a comprehensive galaxy formation model based on the successful cosmological simulation Illustris.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We have setup a dedicated web-site at<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><a title=\"Auriga Project\" href=\"http:\/\/auriga.h-its.org\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Auriga Project<\/a> <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>where we outline the motivation for the simulations in relation to some key scientific areas of galaxy formation, and describe the details of the simulations including the galaxy formation model.
