With a rise time to peak brightness of 90 days, OGLE14-073 evolved very slowly. In this paper, the authors present explosion models and synthetic light curves and spectra for OGLE14-073. They find satisfactory fits to OGLE14-073 for a pair-instability supernova in a massive progenitor star with an initial mass of 150 solar masses and low metallicity (Z=0.001), making OGLE14-073 to one of the most promising candidates for a pair-instability explosion.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Publication:<br>Alexandra Kozyreva, Markus Kromer, Ulrich M Noebauer and Raphael Hirschi:&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/doi.org\/10.1093\/mnras\/sty983\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">OGLE14-073 \u2013 a promising pair-instability supernova candidate<\/a>.
