Gruppenleiterin Dr. Ganna Gryn\u2018ova und ihr Team entwickeln am Computer Modelle und Werkzeuge f\u00fcr Anwendungen in der metallfreien Katalyse und molekularen Elektronik.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Dr. Ganna Gryn\u2018ova ist die Leiterin der neuen HITS-Juniorgruppe&nbsp;<a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" aria-label=\" (opens in a new tab)\" href=\"https:\/\/www.h-its.org\/research\/computational-carbon-chemistry-ccc\/\" target=\"_blank\">\u201cComputational Carbon Chemistry\u201d (CCC)<\/a>&nbsp;(CCC), die jetzt ihre Arbeit aufnimmt. Die Gruppe arbeitet mit den neuesten Methoden der Computerchemie, um organische Materialien zu erforschen und auf ihre praktische Anwendung hin zu untersuchen. Sie konzentriert sich dabei auf Materialien, die auf Graphen basieren. Diese weisen gegen\u00fcber bisher haupts\u00e4chlich verwendeten anorganischen Stoffen eine Reihe von Vorteilen auf: Sie sind unter anderem biokompatibel, das hei\u00dft weniger umweltsch\u00e4dlich, sehr variabel in ihrer Struktur, extrem biegsam und besitzen zudem hervorragende elektronische und optische Eigenschaften. Die Gruppe entwickelt computergest\u00fctzte Modelle f\u00fcr die Gestaltung und die detaillierte Untersuchung von neuen graphen-basierten Materialien und molekularen Bauteilen, die in der metallfreien Katalyse und molekularen Elektronik Anwendung finden. Die Wissenschaftler befassen sich mit Mechanismen der carbokatalytischen Zersetzung von Umweltschadstoffen, sie entwickeln Konzepte zur Katalyse innerhalb molekularer Br\u00fccken und entwerfen molekulare Sensoren f\u00fcr Umweltschadstoffe und spinpolarisierte molekulare Br\u00fccken mit Graphenelektroden.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Ganna (Anya) Gryn\u2018ova studierte Chemie an der Oles Honchar National University Dnipro, Ukraine und promovierte in theoretischer Chemie an der Australian National University, Canberra.
