Dr. h.c. Andreas Reuter"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>Zum 15. April 2016 beendete Prof. Dr.-Ing. Dr. h.c. Andreas Reuter seine T\u00e4tigkeit als HITS-Gesch\u00e4ftsf\u00fchrer. 18 Jahre zuvor hatte der Informatiker seine Position als Prorektor der Universit\u00e4t Stuttgart aufgegeben, um eine private englischsprachige Hochschule mitzugr\u00fcnden. Gleichzeitig hatte er Klaus Tschiras Angebot angenommen, die EML European Media Laboratory GmbH als wissenschaftlicher Direktor und Gesch\u00e4ftsf\u00fchrer aufzubauen. 2003 kam das Grundlagenforschungsinstitut EML Research gGmbH hinzu, aus dem dann 2010 das HITS entstand. Andreas Reuters gro\u00dfe Erfahrung als Wissenschaftsmanager trug besonders in der Zusammenarbeit mit dem Karlsruher Institut f\u00fcr Technologie KIT und der Universit\u00e4t Heidelberg Fr\u00fcchte \u2013 von gemeinsamen Berufungen bis zum Einstieg beider Universit\u00e4ten als Gesellschafter des HITS im Herbst 2014.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Nach dem pl\u00f6tzlichen Tod Klaus Tschiras im M\u00e4rz 2015 \u00fcbernahm Andreas Reuter die alleinige Gesch\u00e4ftsf\u00fchrung des Instituts f\u00fcr ein weiteres Jahr. Nach seinem Ausscheiden als HITS-Gesch\u00e4ftsf\u00fchrer konzentrierte sich Andreas Reuter auf die Leitungsfunktionen, die er in anderen von Klaus Tschira gegr\u00fcndeten Institutionen wahrnahm, wie der <a href=\"https:\/\/www.h-its.org\/de\/institut\/\">HITS Stiftung<\/a> und der <a href=\"https:\/\/www.heidelberg-laureate-forum.org\/\">Heidelberg Laureate Forum Foundation<\/a>.
