{"id":8262,"date":"2015-02-12T14:45:52","date_gmt":"2015-02-12T13:45:52","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.h-its.org\/?p=8262"},"modified":"2019-03-22T11:24:26","modified_gmt":"2019-03-22T10:24:26","slug":"hub","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.h-its.org\/de\/2015\/02\/12\/hub\/","title":{"rendered":"HITS-Forscher bauen Bioinformatik-Netzwerke auf"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>Die HITS-K\u00f6pfe <strong>Jonathan Fuller<\/strong> und <strong>Xiaofeng Yu<\/strong> haben gemeinsam mit Kollegen vom HITS und anderen Forschungseinrichtungen (EMBL, DKFZ, Universit\u00e4t Heidelberg, Cellzome, u.a.) die <strong>Heidelberg Unseminars in Bioinformatics (HUB)<\/strong> ins Leben gerufen. Diese \u201eUnseminare\u201c unterscheiden sich in einem wesentlichen Punkt von den Konferenzen und Seminaren, die normalerweise im naturwissenschaftlichen Bereich abgehalten werden: Bei Unseminaren sollen sich die Teilnehmer direkt mit eigenen Themenvorschl\u00e4gen und Ideen einbringen. So wird eine Basis f\u00fcr Diskussionen und Networking gebildet. In einem k\u00fcrzlich in <em>PLOS Computational Biology<\/em> erschienenen Artikel haben die HUB-Mitglieder zehn einfache Regeln zur Organisation einer Unkonferenz aufgestellt: <a href=\"http:\/\/journals.plos.org\/ploscompbiol\/article?id=10.1371\/journal.pcbi.1003905\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Ten Simple Rules for Organizing an Unconference<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Doch Unkonferenzen (oder ihre k\u00fcrzere Form, Unseminare) sind nicht nur etwas f\u00fcr Bioinformatiker. Vielleicht haben auch Sie Lust, sich inspirieren zu lassen oder sich einfach einmal anzuschauen, was bei HUB so geschieht: <a href=\"http:\/\/www.hub-hub.de\/wiki\/index.php?title=HUB_-_Heidelberg_Unseminars_in_Bioinformatics\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">www.hub-hub.de<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Professionelle Netzwerke sind essentiell. Deswegen haben einige HUB-Mitglieder w\u00e4hrend der <em>Intelligent Systems for Molecular Biology- <\/em>Konferenz einen Workshop dazu organisiert, wie man im bioinformatischen Bereich erfolgreich netzwerken kann. Name des Workshops war: &#8218;The \u201eHow To Guide\u201d for Establishing a Successful Bioinformatics Network&#8216;.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Auf der Konferenz gingen hochrangige internationale Organisationen auf die Bedeutung beruflicher Netzwerke ein \u2013 sowohl auf kleiner Ebene (wie HUB oder <a href=\"http:\/\/www.vanbug.org\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">VanBUG<\/a>, die Vancouver Bioinformatics User Group) als auch auf gro\u00dfer (z.B. <a href=\"http:\/\/www.elixir-europe.org\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">ELIXIR<\/a>, ein Zusammenschluss f\u00fcr europaweite Informationsinfrastruktur im Bereich Biowissenschaften, das durch das BMBF gef\u00f6rderte <a href=\"http:\/\/www.virtual-liver.de\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Virtual Liver Network<\/a>, oder <a href=\"http:\/\/www.h3abionet.org\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">H3ABioNet<\/a>, ein afrikaweites Bioinformatik-Netzwerk).
